FIFA 23 is a bombastic finale to the series from doris's blog

You can buy FIFA Points in bundles, starting around PS0.79 at 100 FIFA Points and rising to FIFA 23 Coins the staggering PS79.99 to 12,000 FIFA Points. A Premium Gold Pack is priced at 150 FIFA Points. It includes 12 gold-rated players as well as consumables that are able to be used in game or sold on exchange markets.

According to the company's policy, EA told Eurogamer that FUT's lootboxes "are a part that of FIFA that players enjoy," and that "giving players the option to spend on their own if they choose to will be fair."

It has no plans to change its strategy towards "surprise mechanics" until laws are passed that require it to. It's not going to make the situation any better however it is worth noting that because of some laws, you can put limits on your weekly FIFA points spending and pack to open in Ultimate Team, and see the probability of receiving the highest-rated player prior to opening the pack.

FIFA 23 also features time-limited Preview Packs where you can look over the contents of a pack before you choose to buy it, but this feature is only available to one single pack of cards that is refreshed once per day.

FIFA 23 is a bombastic finale to the series (under its current name at the very least) with a definite accent on theatricality. FUT Moments, action replays and games that are virally popular like Power Shots make it a more thoughtful and memorable game of football simulation with deliberate defense and lots of drama and goals.

But EA's Spartan approach to games that aren't making money guarantees FIFA 23 is an all-too-familiar game compared to previous versions, and Ultimate Team's blatant focus on microtransactions is FUT 23 Coins buy taking some of the fun of the game.
