Had a Brad day Arsene Had a Brad day Arsene from lovelystyle's blog

Lucky you! Well I think lucky anyway.Youvefound my new Weekly Football Blog. Each week Ill be expre sing my views on stories and the goings on from the wide world of football, bigging up the mighty Chelsea and generally laughing at Arsenal. So lets get this started!Theres only one place to start really! You probably gue sed it from the title of this blog.Imof course talking about Arsenals hilarious Capital One Cup lo s to Bradford at Valley Parade, Wilt Chamberlain Jersey which was seen as one of the biggest cup upsets in recent years. I was lucky enough to witne s extra time and the penaltyshoot-out and unlucky enough to have sat through 90 minutes of a drab Luton Town performance on Premier Sports (quite po sibly the worst sports channel ever produced!). I pretty much laughed my way through theshoot-out. Seeing these millionaires fail against a team which cost 8.5k to put together made my week, month and maybe year. Pure comedy! I heard today that a member of the Bradford side had taken a 50% pay cut to ensure he could still play for the Bantams. He is currently being paid 225 p/w. Compare that to the 50k Marouane Chamakh is being paid and you just have to laugh. Shocking Arsenal! Allen Iverson Jersey Absolutely shocking!Having been the buck of many jokes over the past 7 years for not winning a trophy, many an Arsenal fan would have seen this game as a clear path to the Semi-Finals. Unfortunately for you Arsenal you have a certain Mr Wenger in charge, a man who, on his own, has transformed Arsenal into a top side and is now converting them back to the average club they once were. Being run by Ivan Gazidis and the gang, the Gunners are slowly becoming the Liverpool of this year. Wenger clearly believes that the likes of Marouane Chamakh, Andre Santos and Gervinho are capable of firing the Gunners to silverware. I hate to have you inform you Arsene, but the world can see that Chamakh, Santos and Gervinho are absolutely cluele s and a waste of space!Arsenal rant over.oh wait! Why does Arsene insist on continuing to use clearly average players ahead of genuine talent? Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Perhaps the most exciting talent England currently has is forced to settle for a place on the bench week after week. To think that Gervinho is chosen ahead of him is preposterous! How some of these foreign players are preferred to home grown talent is beyond me. He is clearly gifted. Yes he may be raw around the edges but all he needs is minutes. Why not start him at Bradford? Oh yes, thatsrightyou have Gervinho. Arsene I must apologise. Please accept my sincere apologies! From perhaps the most exciting talent in England to perhaps the best player to have ever played the game. Lionel Me si. Wellwhat is there to say? Remarkable, amazing, extraordinary. I could go on for literally seconds. To score 88 goals (as it currently stands) before the year is over is nothing short of a miracle. I have a feeling of pride that hecouldntbreak down the mighty Blues! Not so good after all eh Lionel? The question, Is he the best ever? has been thrown around an awful lot since way before he broke the goal scoring record. I dont think there is any doubt that he is in the top three. But number Markelle Fultz Jersey one?Imgoing to go ahead and say no. Controversial maybe, however I never saw Maradona or Pele play. For me to say he is the best ever I would have to have seen the other two to make a judgement. For Me si to be the best ever, its simple for me. He has to win the World Cup. Pele did it three times. Maradona, just the once. The World Cup is the pinnacle of any players career Moses Malone Jersey and until Me si wins that, he is just one step behind the other two.Finallymoving on from winners of the World Cup, we will in a few days know who is crowned the World Club Cup Winners. A tournament which, I think its safe to say, no one really cares about. Including me. Id rather still be in the Champions League but hey ho. The only man who I think really cares is Rafa Benitez. If he wins this tournament, his reputation at Chelsea improves and the fans mayI stre s maywarm to him ever so slightly. Dont bank on it though. However, should he lose in the final against Corinthians, all hell could break loose!Having only seen Clarence Weatherspoon Jersey glimpses of the game, Chelsea looked very comfortable and were never in any danger of losing. David Luiz was pushed into a deep lying midfield role from the start and looked mightily impre sive. A future permanent role maybe? I think so. People have been crying out for Luiz to be pushed furtherup fieldbut it had never been tried. I genuinely believe he could become one of the best in the world in that position if hes disciplined enough.Moving back to the tournament itself, its pretty obvious to me that the tournament needs a revamp if it is to be taken more seriously.Imnot sure how this could be done, but something certainly needs looking at. Had anyone heard of Monterrey before the tournament? No me neither! Introduce more teams and better teams and you might get more interest but at the moment it is just congesting the season.Thats just about it for this week. I hope you enjoyed the read and come back again next week where a small matter of Leeds United v Chelsea in the Capital One Cup is to be contested. Feisty fixture in the offering there!See you later!Mark
